Mission

Venture Navigation was established in 1995 with a mission to assist early stage businesses to obtain external funding to fuel expansion plans. Working with hundreds of firms throughout the US and Europe and in close partnership with accounting firms including Deloitte and Price Waterhouse and banks including Silicon Valley Bank, Venture Navigation gained international prominence and expanded its services to include business planning, human resources, and legal services.

Regulation A Funding
In 2011, Venture Navigation expanded its fundraising services through utilizing new legislation passed by congress that expanded the scope of Regulation A.  The Regulation A offering is an SEC ruling that allows for simplified registration for companies seeking to raise up to $50,000,000 or less. It gives many small businesses the ability to go public with their business and raise capital through the selling of securities with exemptions from many of the constraints in a conventional public offering – and at much lower cost.

To qualify, the SEC has set several requirements for businesses to qualify for the exemptions. Regulation A Offering exemptions are good for businesses that are legally registered with the government to do business in the United States or Canada. Companies eligible for the exemption should have a specific business plan and also meet other requirements of amended legislation.
